2010 AKRON SERBIAN FESTIVAL 
FREE ADMISSION AND ENTERTAINMENT ON BOTH DAYS! ! !
                                                                

St. Archangel Michael Serbian Orthodox Church, on 2552 Pickle Road, in Akron, Ohio, welcomes and invites everyone to this year's annual Serbian Festival will be held on Saturday, July 31, and Sunday, August 1, 2010. 

We will feature a variety of delicious Serbian foods: hot spit-roasted lamb, pig, goat, and chicken, cevapcici, gulas, sarma, lamb and chicken paprikas; Serbian specialty baked goods and pastries: krofne; nut and poppy seed rolls; cheese, apple and cherry strudels;  tulumbe, urmasice, vanilice, kiflice and cupavci; burek;  sarma; stuffed peppers; festive Serbian music; Church tours; a Saturday-only golf outing and buffet dinner;  Sunday-only youth 3-on-3 basketball and bocce ball/balote tournaments;  Saturday and Sunday soccer tournaments; table tennis tournament; folklore group performances; commemorative advertisement booklet (info below); silent auction; and much, much more! 

Our Saturday Serb Fest Golf Outing will take place at the Chenowith Golf Course, minutes away from our Church Grounds off Pickle Road.  Registration is $60.00 per person, $240 per team ($200 if register by July 21) - includes 18 holes of golf, cart, lunch/drink at course, delicious full buffet dinner with drink beginning at 3:00pm (including spit-roasted lamb and pig, cevapcici and much more!).  Tee times will be from 8:30am to 10:15am.  Prizes/gifts for closest-to-pins and longest drive contest.
