The Miracle-Working Icon and Chrism-Exuding Icon of the Mother of God "Softener of Evil Hearts," visited the St. Sergius Russian Orthodox Cathedral in Parma, Ohio, on October 15-16, 2009. Protojerej Dragomir Tuba served Divine Liturgy on Friday, October 16th, along with Mitred Archpriest Peter Burlakov (retired) from the cathedral and with Protojerej Zivoijn Jakovljevic from St. Sava Cathedral in Parma. Following Divine Liturgy a Moleban was served and faithful present were annointed with the Holy Myrrh which exudes from the Icon. Protojerej Dragomir and Protinica Kristina Tuba traveled to Boston, Massachusetts, from October 9th through 11th, 2009 for the long-awaited Consecration of St. Sava Serbian Orthodox Church. We congratulate our sister parish along with their parish priest Protojerej Aleksandar Vlajkovic and pray that the Lord blesses their precious vineyard for many years! Mnogaja Ljeta! This year's Serbian Festival was a huge success thanks to all of our guests! But, if it wasn't for all of the volunteers who worked thousands of hours planning, preparing, laboring, cooking, baking and organizing this event it would not have been possible! Our deepest thanks to everyone!

This year's St. Sava Day Celebration was wonderful, filled with poems recited by our parish children, a play, and performances by the folklore group. We would like to extend our sincere thanks to the Krco Family - Mladen, Ranka, Jelena and Ogjnen - who were this year's Honored Kumovi. They generously prepared and donated the banquet luncheon! We also thank everyone who helped in any way to make it a success!

Folklore Performance at Belgrade Gardens International Institute Banquet - 10/27/08
Our senior folklore group, Gracanica, performed at an International Institute Women's Group Banquet held at Belgrade Gardens Restaurant in Barberton, Ohio, on Thursday, October 27, 2008. Six of Gracanica's dancers under the direction of Mrs.Vinka Zoric represented our parish folklore group. We are so proud of them!

Његово Преосвештенство Владика Др. Митрофан био је наш специјални гост на Вечерњем Богослужењу у суботу, 5. јула 2008. год. После Вечерњег Његово Преосвештенство је одржао предавање "Основне Истине Православне Вере". По предавању скоро сви присутни су се укуључили у расправу, постављајући веома важна питања по питању вере, причешћа, молитве, брака итд. His Grace the Right Reverend Dr. Mitrophan was our special guest for Vespers on Saturday, July 5, 2008, followed by giving a lecture entitled "Basic Truths of the Orthodox Faith." Following the lecture all present joined in an open discusion, asking very important questions about faith, communion, prayer, marriage, etc.

Parishioners along with Fr. Dragomir traveled by bus to attend the protest against the declaration of Kosovo as an independent state at the Democratic Debate at Cleveland University's Wolstein Center held on Tuesday, February 26, 2008, at 6pm.
